A ride to test myself rather than the bike. The bike was fine, even though I overheated the brakes on the way down into Mequinenza. I managed, just. The gravel roads were far rougher than they appeared to be on StreetView, so I was feeling a bit battered by the end of the day.

A little daunting going out with the group and not being on a mountain bike. All in all, even the trials section on a singletrack, everything went very well. Far better than I expected.

To check everything works and be as far away from anyone I know in case I fall off!
